The driver unit used in Pioneer's HDJ-1000 DJ headphones has been tuned in these models to enable users to listen to low-range sound much easier. Low-rebound urethane is used on the ear pads for a better fit, making them comfortable to wear even during long DJ sets. Two color variations, black and gold, are available.

The driver unit in the HDJ-1000 DJ headphones has been tuned to make low range sounds even easier to listen to. A thicker diaphragm of 38 micrometers is now used and the winding width of the voice coil has been increased to 1.5 mm. This enables playback of low and heavy sounds, achieving high responsiveness even with a high input. Furthermore, the protection resistance value in the MONO/STEREO switch, which affects the sound quality, has been halved, to deliver clearer playback of sound in the mid range. This makes beats (bass drums, snare drums, cymbal rhythms) much easier to listen to.

Low-rebound urethane is used on the ear pads for a better fit, making them comfortable to wear even during long DJ sets. The headphones also enclose the ears better when worn, achieving excellent sound insulation and making monitoring easy even on a noisy dance floor.

Choose from the colors available to suit the fashionable you. The black model is sophisticated and classy, with a matte, rubber-like coating on the arms and hinges while the gold model uses glitzy coloring in base tones of gold and black.
